What is temporary email?
Temporary email is an address intended for short-term use. A disposable inbox can be useful for a one-time signup, receiving a verification code, testing email delivery or keeping unwanted newsletters away from a permanent address.
How many temporary email addresses can I get?
XFREE TEMP MAIL provides up to 25 new inboxes per day. One request can contain from one to ten addresses when enough safe mailboxes are available in the free pool.
Do I need to register or provide a phone number?
No signup is required for basic use. The service creates an anonymous technical browser profile for the daily allowance and for showing the temporary inboxes assigned to the current visitor.
Are old messages removed before assignment?
Yes. The address is checked before it is handed to a new user. If old messages are present, the backend attempts to remove them and verifies the inbox again; if cleanup cannot be confirmed, the address is removed from the available pool.
How often does the inbox refresh?
While the mailbox page is open, the interface periodically checks for new messages. Manual refresh is also available, although excessive polling is rate-limited to protect the service.
Can I recover a released temporary inbox?
Recovery is not guaranteed. Once released, the address is no longer assigned to the current profile, goes through cleanup and quarantine, and may later return to the shared pool.
Should I use disposable email for banking or important accounts?
No. Use a permanent mailbox you control long-term for banking, government services, work accounts, cryptocurrency exchanges, personal documents and critical account recovery.
Is the service paid?
No. Core functionality is free with a daily allowance of 25 new inboxes. Cryptocurrency addresses shown on the site are only for voluntary project support and do not remove limits.
